Where is The Barn located and how do I get there?
Our countryside venue is located at 2278 Goshen Turnpike, Middletown, NY 10941 on over six scenic acres of rolling Hudson Valley farmland. We offer an authentic destination-wedding feel while remaining easily accessible from major regional highways.
Where should our out-of-town wedding guests stay?
Your guests won't have to worry about transit or shuttle logistics. Located directly across the road is our brand-new boutique sister hotel, Casa Rialto. It features 20 luxury guest rooms (14 King layouts and 6 Queen layouts), customized climate controls, and an on-site lounge. Couples booking their wedding with us receive exclusive priority to coordinate group room blocks.
Is there a train station near the venue for New York City guests?
Yes! The Middletown–Town of Wallkill Station (NJ Transit/Metro-North Port Jervis Line) is less than a 10-minute drive from our property. This makes it incredibly simple for wedding guests or corporate attendees traveling up from Manhattan or northern New Jersey to reach us without needing a car.
What time do events typically start and end at The Barn?
All wedding packages at The Barn include a 5-hour reception celebration. If you choose to have your ceremony on-site, an additional 30 minutes is added to your timeline.
To allow for staggered ceremony times and ensure each couple enjoys the best sunset views, our typical start times are:
May – September
• 5:00 PM ceremony start → Reception concludes at 10:30 PM
• 6:30 PM ceremony start → Reception concludes at 12:00 AM
October – April
• 4:00 PM ceremony start → Reception concludes at 9:30 PM
• 5:30 PM ceremony start → Reception concludes at 11:00 PM
For couples who want to keep the celebration going, you can also add a 2-hour after-party in our Tavern space.
Where do guests park on the wedding day?
We provide an expansive, complimentary on-site guest parking lot directly at the venue. Complimentary self-parking and professional valet services are seamlessly included for your wedding day to give your guests a smooth arrival experience.
What is the maximum guest capacity at The Barn?
The Barn features 27,000 square feet of highly versatile indoor and outdoor event space capable of hosting weddings for up to 300 seated guests.
Cypress Ballroom (Main Floor): Featuring soaring ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass windows, it comfortably fits 150 to 300+ guests with ample room for a massive dance floor.
The Farmview (Second Floor): Ideal for midsize weddings, cocktail hours, or intimate receptions, hosting 125 to 150 guests with panoramic views of the farmland.
What are our choices for an outdoor ceremony?
We feature one stunning, meticulously manicured outdoor ceremony setting. The Farmland: An expansive pergola overlooking six acres of tranquil, open countryside.
What is the backup plan for inclement weather?
Weather changes are completely stress-free here. Because our property boasts independent, fully climate-controlled interior event spaces like the rustic-elegant Farmview and our majestic Cypress ballroom, transitioning an outdoor ceremony indoors due to sudden rain or cold weather is easy and beautiful.
Do you provide a space for the wedding party to get ready?
Yes! Booking your wedding day at The Barn gives you access to our dedicated Farmhouse, which features eight private, beautifully appointed getting-ready suites available to rent for you and your wedding party.
Additionally, you can reserve our luxury Getting Ready Bridal Suite at Casa Rialto, located right across the street, starting at 9:00 AM. This private space offers the perfect setting to relax, get ready, and enjoy the morning of your wedding with your closest family and friends.
Will there be another wedding happening at the same time as mine?
Can we host an after-party or a welcome event on-site?
Yes, we host two weddings at a time, but start times are staggered by 1.5 to 2 hours. Both the Farmview and Cypress Rooms are fully private with their own dedicated amenities, including a ceremony and reception space, private couple's suite, guest restrooms, cocktail area, and photo opportunities.
Is catering included, and can you handle dietary restrictions?
The Barn is a full-service hospitality venue providing top-tier, all-inclusive on-site catering and premium bar packages. Our custom culinary programs focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. We easily accommodate specialized dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergen-safe variations.
Absolutely! You don't have to change locations to keep the celebration going. We can host your after-party or welcome mixer directly on the property inside The Tavern (our upscale, pub-style lounge) or The Barrel Room (featuring warm wood and wine-cellar charm for up to 75 guests). Or take the party to Andiamo, an Italian lounge tucked inside Casa Rialto.
What are your policies regarding outside vendors and decor?
We welcome outside vendors and personal decor to make your wedding day uniquely yours! All outside vendors are required to provide proof of liability insurance prior to your event date.
Our team is happy to work with your selected vendors to ensure everything runs smoothly and all required documentation is received in advance of your celebration.
